Hong Kong is a vertical city. It can only be fully appreciated when you have the opportunity to admire the city from above. The best way to do so if by visiting one of the many rooftop bars in Hong Kong.

1. Wooloomooloo (Wan Chai)
Located at 256 Hennessy Road in Wan Chai, this bar is popular not only for its good cocktails and relaxed atmosphere (DJ from Tuesday to Sunday from 7pm), but also and especially for its rooftop and the beautiful view it offers over the city.
Climb to the 31st floor of the building, you will see the restaurant (Wooloomooloo Steackhouse) and by a service staircase, you will then reach the roof terrace and the bar. (Access is free.). You do not need to have dinner in Wooloomooloo, you can simply enjoy the rooftop with a drink.
Space is very tight though and always packed with people, so if you want to have a seat, try to arrive early. Wooloomooloo is one of our ultimate favorite rooftop bar in Hong Kong!

2. Sevva (Central)
Wear your favorite black dress and Louboutins or best suits: Sevva is very chic. Sevva is an upscale restaurant and bar located on the 25th floor on the roof of the Prince’s Building. The privileged view of Status Square, the HSBC building, the Harbor and Tsim Sha Tsui is stunning. However, count around HK $ 180 for a rooftop cocktail.
For a long time, Sevva is considered one of the best rooftops in Hong Kong.

3. Bar OZONE (West Kowloon)
Ozone Bar is located in West Kowloon on the 118th floor of ICC. Ozone Bar is one of the highest bars in the world. It’s a must-see if you are visiting Hong Kong. The view is incredible, so high up in the sky! And the design of the bar is out of this world! While the entrance is free, drinks are not cheap. Cocktails are around HK $ 190, beer around HK $ 100 and soft drinks around HK $ 95.

4. Sugar (Quarry Bay)
Located in Quarry Bay, this bar offers lovely views of the harbor and eastern Kowloon. It is especially interesting for its happy hour from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., which combines a terrace bar, a nice view and cheap price (HK $ 60 for a glass of wine or a cocktail).

5. SKYE (CAUSEWAY BAY)
SKYE is another amazing rooftops bar located on the 27th floor of the five star Park Lane Hotel. SKYE is divided into multiple parts: Dining, Rooftop and Gastrobar. This place is huge covering more than 8,000 sq ft.
The rooftop bar offers an exceptional view of the city in a stylish setup.
The food at SKYE dining, is also spectacular. They offer delicious French cuisine.

6. Eyebar (TST)
Another of our favorite rooftops in Hong Kong is the Eyebar. This one is across the bay in Tsim Sha Tsui. Here you need to go go through the restaurant to access the terrace with panoramic views.
Finding a table at Eyebar shouldn’t be a problem. Eyebar is especially famous for its cocktails, delicious and original. There is also a Happy Hour from Monday to Friday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (excluding public holidays).
The best is to go before 8 p.m. to see the Symphony of Lights, the nighttime spectacle that brings skyscrapers to life every night at this time. It is clearly from this side of the bay that it is the most beautiful to observe.

7. Popinjays (CENTRAL)
Located on top of The Murray Hotel in Central, Popinjays is a fantastic rooftop in Hong Kong. The view from the 26th floor is stunning. The indoor space with floor to ceiling windows offers the perfect panorama to the city.
The rooftop restaurant focuses on modern European cuisine and the bar serves world-class cocktails.

8. Plume (Central)
Plume is one of our favorite rooftop in Hong Kong. Besides serving great coktail and having a nice happy hour, they also serve amazing platters to share. Besides, the view is absolutely stunning! If you are hungry after a few drinks, go down 1 floor to savor a delicious meal at the 2 Michelin Star restaurants, L’Ecriture!

9. Portico (CENTRAL)
Portico is like a little oasis in the middle of the city. When chilling at Portfico rooftop, you will fell in a garden away from the bustle of the city. The decoration is stunning creating a perfect atmosphere to enjoy a drink.

Cruise is located on the top of the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour in North Point. This beautiful and stylish rooftop offers a perfect environment to chill with an amazing view over Victoria Harbour and the Kowloon skyline.
