Best Rooftops in Hong Kong

Located at 256 Hennessy Road in Wan Chai, this bar is popular not only for its good cocktails and relaxed atmosphere (DJ from Tuesday to Sunday from 7 pm), but also for the beautiful view it offers over the city.

Climb to the 31st floor of the building, you will see the restaurant (Wooloomooloo Steakhouse), and by a service staircase, you will then reach the roof terrace and the bar. (Access is free.). You do not need to have dinner in Wooloomooloo, you can simply enjoy the rooftop with a drink.

Space is very tight though and always packed with people, so if you want to have a seat, try to arrive early. Wooloomooloo is one of our ultimate favorite rooftops in Hong Kong!

There are 2 other Wooloomooloos, the other one is in Kowloon, so make sure to check out the one in Wan Chai if you want a drink on a rooftop.


Wear your favorite black dress and Louboutins or best suits: Sevva is very chic. Sevva is an upscale restaurant and bar located on the 25th floor on the roof of the Prince’s Building. The privileged view of Status Square, the HSBC building, the Harbor and Tsim Sha Tsui is stunning. However, it costs around HK $ 180 for a rooftop cocktail.

For a long time, Sevva has been considered one of the best rooftops in Hong Kong.


Ozone Bar is located in West Kowloon on the 118th floor of ICC. Ozone Bar is one of the highest bars in the world. It’s a must-see if you are visiting Hong Kong.

The view is incredible, so high up in the sky! And the design of the bar is out of this world! While the entrance is free, drinks are not cheap. Cocktails are around HK $ 190, beer is around HK $ 100, and soft drinks are around HK $ 95.


Located in Quarry Bay, this bar offers lovely views of the harbor and eastern Kowloon. It is especially interesting for its happy hour from Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., which combines a terrace bar, a nice view, and a cheap price (HK $ 60 for a glass of wine or a cocktail).

SKYE is another amazing rooftop bar located on the 27th floor of the five-star Park Lane Hotel. The rooftop is divided into multiple parts: Dining, Rooftop, and Gastrobar. This place is huge covering more than 8,000 sq ft.

The food at SKYE dining is also spectacular. They offer delicious French cuisine.


Another of our favorite rooftops in Hong Kong is the Eyebar. This one is across the bay in Tsim Sha Tsui. Here you need to go go through the restaurant to access the terrace with panoramic views.

Finding a table at Eyebar shouldn’t be a problem. Eyebar is especially famous for its cocktails, delicious and original. There is also a Happy Hour from Monday to Friday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (excluding public holidays).

The best is to go before 8 p.m. to see the Symphony of Lights, the nighttime spectacle that brings skyscrapers to life every night at this time. It is clearly from this side of the bay that it is the most beautiful to observe the city.


Located on top of The Murray Hotel in Central, Popinjays is a fantastic rooftop in Hong Kong. The view from the 26th floor is stunning. The indoor space with floor to ceiling windows offers the perfect panorama to the city.
