How to get to Antiparos

BEST WAY TO GET TO ANTIPAROS IN GREECE? FROM WHERE TO TAKE THE FERRY TO ANTIPAROS?

Antiparos is the small neighboring island to Paros! Both are super cute and totally worth a visit during a trip to Greece. Well fun fact, Antiparos is Tom Hanks and his wife’s favorite island in Greece. They bought a residence and like to spend their summer there… If you are lucky enough, you might spot them!

To get to Antiparos it’s pretty straightforward: YOU NEED TO TAKE A FERRY FROM PAROS.


How To Get To Antiparos?

  • BOARDING LOCATION: Get to Pounda Port to board the ferry. HERE

  • RESERVATION: NOT NEEDED. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. The ferry departs every 30 minutes anyway.
  • VEHICLE: It is possible to bring your own vehicle onboard (see below). Car, Scooter, Bicycle, ATV, anything is possible!
Getting to Antiparos
  • PRICE: €1,50 per passenger (€0,75 for children), €2,00 per scooter and €7,30 per car for each ride.
  • DURATION: The ride is very quick, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • ARRIVAL: you will arrive at the Antiparos main village (HERE). From there you can right away start your visit to the island (also possible on foot).

How to get to Antiparos

There is another option during summer, is to take the ferry from Parikia.

  • IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This ferry only runs from May to September – October (the Peak Season).
  • BOARDING LOCATION: Get to Parikia Main Port here.
  • SCHEDULE: The ferry leaves pretty much every hour, starting at 10:00 until 19:00 (check the exact schedule here).
  • RESERVATION: NOT NEEDED. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.
  • VEHICLE: Not possible to take any vehicle. This ferry is much smaller.
  • PRICE: €7 one way
  • DURATION: 30 minutes
  • ARRIVAL: you will arrive at the Antiparos main village (HERE).

How to get to Antiparos

Joining a boat tour is one of the best things during a trip to Greece, especially in the Cyclades! From either Naxos or Paros, you can join a catamaran or sailing trip around the Paros and Despotiko islands! It’s stunning.
