Mossy Forest

Mossy Forest is closed to the public during the monsoon season (November to January). It is best to avoid visiting Cameron Highlands at this time because heavy rains often result in landslides along the road leading there.

The best time to go is during summer June – August.

Also, it is best to go in the morning because, at that time, the Mossy Forest is still shrouded in fog, thus adding an aura of mystery that is quite beautiful for photography. Don’t forget to bring thick clothes because the weather is quite cold at that time.
